Holly Chang 张虹琳
Holly Chang is the Founder of Golden Bridges, a Beijing-based nonprofit organization that strengthens grassroots NPOs focused on alleviating poverty, solving environmental problems, and improving lives for thousands of migrant children, orphans, and other marginalized populations in China’s emerging third sector. She previously worked as a Plant Engineer at UPS on time-sensitive projects with budgets up to US$1Billion. In late 2005 after Hurricane Katrina, she departed from her corporate career and joined the Red Cross as a disaster-relief volunteer. By 2008, Holly had sold her home and belongings, moved to China, and invested her life-savings to start Golden Bridges to channel philanthropic capital, volunteer expertise, and cross-sector resources to empower nonprofit leaders to build high-performing, trust-worthy organizations. With a long-term approach, she is designing programs that promote the growth of a healthy, vibrant and peaceful civil society in China. Holly holds degrees in Civil Engineering, Psychology, and an MBA.
